When the technical side of email publishing is easy, you can concentrate on creating compelling content for your audiences. The Willco Lists Module is a cost-effective, powerful tool for sending personally addressed mailings to your entire database, or a filtered subset of your database - as many as thousands per hour, as often as you need to.
Willco built the Lists Module to meet its own exacting standards for desired features in a list management system. These include:
- Personalisation: Include specific recipient information in mailings, such as 'Dear {FIRST_NAME}'.
- Formats: Send plain text, HTML (rich text) or attachments.
- Bounce-handling and Reporting: Detailed reporting of the results of mailings. Drill-down and see exactly which addresses failed, and why.
- Testing: Send tests to administrators to preview them prior to sending to your database. As an added safety net, all mailings are queued for a 10-minute delay to enable you to cancel.
- Transparency: Mailings appear to come from your organisation, and replies go to you. Our server handles bounces automatically.
- Subscription Control: Receive email notification every time someone signs up, or 'Close' the community so that only you can add new members.
- Block Members: Keep a list of addresses which cannot subscribe or re-subscribe. This stops someone with a grudge subscribing (or resubscribing) another person to your list when that person has already asked to be removed.
An HTML code-generation tool creates code you can paste into your site to enable instant sign-up for your lists. You can customise the module and the code to send appropriate welcome/goodbye emails and redirect visitors to 'thank you' pages of your choice.
Cost
The Lists Module is available for a modest monthly standing charge, plus usage fees based on actual mailings (see the usage fee calculator). The Lists Module also requires the use of the Members and Admin Modules.
